General Data Protection Regulation

On 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 came into effect, with a focus to the protection of natural persons with regards to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. Following the entry into force of the GDPR, Directive 95/46/EC and Greek Law 2472/1997 were repealed.

GDPR created a strict framework for personal data processing, leading to increased personal data protection.

GDPR has drastically changed the way organizations, companies and professionals collect, manage, process and store “personal” or highly “sensitive” data.

Companies in the broader health industry have significant obligations with regards to GDPR implementation.

Our company is committed to continuously improving its technical infrastructure and its operational procedures in order be GDPR compliant and consequently eliminate related risks.
